This is just a reminder that any member of the community can bring forth resolutions to the Honor Code. The last day to submit resolutions for Special Plenary is April 1st. Also, Special Plenary Committee is soliciting constructive feedback for a resolution about confrontation–You can access the google doc here:

Dr. Jesse Ehrenfeld currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association. He is a Professor of Anesthesiology, Surgery, Biomedical Informatics and Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Ehrenfeld’s research, which focuses on understanding how information technology can improve surgical safety and patient outcomes, has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation and the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research

 

Tri-Co Coding Symposium

Haverford Women in STEM is excited to host a Tri-Co Coding Symposium on Saturday, March 31! Absolutely no programming experience is required, and people identifying as all genders are welcome. Erica Greene ‘10 (Jigsaw [Google incubator]), New York Times, Etsy) will open as our keynote speaker. Participants can then attend a coding workshop (Scratch animation, Arduino robots). After lunch is a student panel with Haverford CS majors who can share their advice and answer questions to anyone interested in pursuing CS! Music and Arts House: “Celebration”
Music and Arts House presents “Celebration,” first in a themed exhibition series to bring student artists and their work to the Haverford community. This quarterly multimedia exhibition will take place in the living space of Apartment 50 to bolster student art presence and provide an inclusive community space.
“Celebration” can take many forms: celebrations of identity, religious rites, college parties, that first live concert you went to, or a personal jam session. Make it your own!
