The Clerk is looking for new writers, photographers, and filmmakers to join our team! We cover news and opinions around campus and pay up to $25 per piece. Meetings are Sundays at 7:45 in the DC basement and are open to all.

 

The Vagina Monologues: Interested in participating in a dramatic reading of Eve Ensler’s classic play? Come to this meeting in the MCC (Stokes 106) at 10pm on Monday January 29th (tomorrow) to learn how to be a part of our performance (Feb 23 & 24). No formal audition–we will do our best to give everyone a speaking role! Time commitment is minimal and no acting experience is required! All Haverford students who do not identify as cis-men are welcome to participate in the reading, but everyone is welcome to be involved with the production. If you want to participate but can’t make the meeting, please email smathrani@haverford.edu ASAP.

 

Hurford Center Summer Opportunity: Philadelphia Museum of Art Summer Museum Studies Internships Deadline to Apply: 1/31 The Hurford Center funds all students who are accepted into The Philadelphia Art Museum’s Museum Studies Internship Program (June 4–August 3, 2018). The Philadelphia Museum of Art is a leader in the training and mentoring of young museum professionals and future museum colleagues. Thurs, Feb. 1 with Nurhaizatul Jamil, Teaching Fellow at College of the Holy Cross presenting “#Coverup: Islamic self-help, Gendered Anxieties, Social media(tions) in Contemporary Singapore” Tea @ 4:15-4:30pm & Talk @ 4:30-6pm. Each talk is preceded by the opportunity to have lunch with each respective candidate in the DC Sunken Lounge @ 12-1:30 pm.
